Visitation by Glory Presbyterian Church YAF

Hi all,

We would like to give thanks to Glory Presbyterian Church Young Adult Ministry and Young Adult committee members and fellowship for their visitation on last Saturday, 18th April 2009.

It's heartwarming to see young and passionate people who are interested to be a part of the giving community. We are glad that our residents had enjoyed the company of volunteers and the prizes that they have prepared for them.

To start off the event, we sang songs together with our residents and played "Pass-It-On". Once the music stops, the lucky resident will need to unwrap the wrapping paper. If the next layer is wrapping paper with deisigns, this indicates that the resident have won a prize!!

After that, we played a game of Bingo. There was an occasion when" 一爆四响" meaning the number called out and we got 4 residents who shouted "BINGO" too. With that, we warp up the event with a view around All Saints and a sharing session with the volunteers.

In summary, some of them felt that they would like to come back for subsequent visits. Others enjoyed the visitation as the perceptions of elderly and environment are different from other Homes that they had visited.

Dear all: We are having our external training session on 25th May for volunteers, thus service break for all. Service will resume on 2nd May. See Ya!
